With diverse backgrounds in arts, community service, business, and philanthropy, our board members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to guide the festival's mission of cultural preservation and social impact.

Anna Nguyen

Anna Nguyen is an accomplished consultant with over two decades of experience in managing complex technical projects across industries such as IoT, mobile applications, e-commerce, and business development. She has held key roles at companies like Facebook, Cisco, and VeriSign, excelling in project delivery and cross-functional team coordination. Anna holds an MBA in Business and Marketing from Santa Clara University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Psychology from the University of Washington. As President of the Áo Dài Festival board, she successfully led the festival in May 2024, showcasing her commitment to cultural preservation and community engagement.

Cindy Phan

Cindy Phan is a seasoned B2B marketing leader with over 20 years in the high-tech industry. She currently heads the Digital Demand Center of Excellence at a software company, where she drives global strategies to create impactful customer experiences. Cindy joined the board of the Áo Dài Festival organization to follow her passion for building community and giving back. As an entrepreneur, she previously owned a successful boba tea franchise and managed an e-commerce business specializing in athletic clothing. Cindy holds a BS in Computer Information Systems and MIS from Claremont Graduate University. As the Treasurer for the Áo Dài Festival, her dedication to community and cultural preservation is at the core of all her endeavors.

Alexander Nguyen

Alexander is a dedicated community advocate with a strong passion for serving others. He began his work in San Francisco’s Chinatown as a liaison for low-income Chinese and API immigrant families at APA Family Support Services. His commitment to community service extends across various roles, including positions with the California Department of Public Health, API Council, Asian Law Alliance, and other nonprofit and community organizations. Alexander holds a B.A. in Sociology, an M.A. in Political Science, and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. As the Secretary for the Áo Dài Festival, his long-term goal is to continue serving, advocating for, and dedicating himself to the community.
