Áo Dài Designer Trần Thị Ánh Tuyết
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Trần Thị Ánh Tuyết is a talented fashion designer from Long An, a province in the Mekong Delta renowned for its contrasting seasons of flood and drought. After completing middle school, her family relocated to Sadec, Đồng Tháp Province, where she continued her high school education. Despite financial challenges, Tuyết was determined to pursue her passion for fashion design and successfully gained entry into Hutech University's Fashion Design program. Over four years, she honed her craft under the mentorship of esteemed educators, including the internationally acclaimed designer Madame Mai-Lâm.
Tuyết began her career at Hagattini, a company specializing in large-scale casual fashion, where she mastered techniques like print art and denim washing. She later joined a firm subcontracting for global brands like C&A, H&M, and C&K. A pivotal moment in her career came when she met renowned designer Nguyễn Công Trí, who invited her to collaborate on his N07 Collection. This experience allowed her to refine her techniques and develop her own unique style, further fueling her passion for fashion.
In 2012, Tuyết broadened her expertise by joining Big C Group, where she developed marketing strategies, designed in-store displays, set up buyer teams, and created the exclusive BF brand for the company. This experience deepened her understanding of the business side of fashion.
In 2015, Tuyết established her own brand, Áo Dài Thị, inspired by the traditional craft passed down from her grandmother, mother, and aunts. Her designs reflect the image of a traditional Vietnamese woman—gentle, graceful, and strong. Each piece in her collection showcases meticulous craftsmanship, embodying the patience, passion, and enduring beauty of Vietnamese heritage.
"Áo Dài Thị" reflects the essence of a traditional Vietnamese woman—gentle, compassionate, and dynamic. Tuyết’s designs are an expression of her own personality: introverted yet elegant, tender without being passive. Each garment showcases meticulous craftsmanship, symbolizing the patience, determination, and enduring passion for traditional beauty in Vietnamese culture.
Tuyết’s mission is to empower Vietnamese women by instilling confidence and pride whenever they wear the iconic Áo Dài. Through her designs, she celebrates the timeless elegance of Vietnamese heritage while encouraging women to embrace their cultural identity with pride.
